Functional Software is hosting an AI-themed Node.js meetup on the 23rd of March!
AI tooling is moving so fast that most of us are still figuring out what “building with AI” actually means in practice. At the same time, Node.js is quickly becoming the go-to stack for AI-powered applications. We wanted a room full of people who are actually building with it—so we’re putting together an AI-themed Node.js meetup!
The Event
The event takes place on March 23rd at Embassy House Coworking by Medborgarplatsen in Stockholm. Doors open at 17:00, and admission is free. We’ll have food and drinks, so you can show up hungry for both knowledge and food.

Shipping With AI — Johan Ehrenfors
Johan Ehrenfors is the founding CTO of Solace Care, where he’s been shipping AI features in production and has the battle scars to prove it. In this talk he covers how Solace Care uses an AI-assisted workflow to build and maintain a fullstack Node.js app—mono-repo migration, flat file CMS, and strategies for shipping faster without accumulating technical debt.
Introduction To Agentic Applications — Christoffer Ekeroth
What happens when you give a chat-based app the ability to act on its own? Christoffer walks through building agentic applications from the ground up—LLM integration, application architecture, and connecting your app to external tools—with a live demo so you can see it all in action.
